Organic Sunflower Seed Oil

Vitamins, natural colouring and valuable nutrients are all preserved in our organic sunflower oil due to it being cold-pressed and carefully filled into bottles in our own family-run business. This gentle processing procedure, and the cooperation with Austrian organic farmers whom we know personally, generates a unique, mild aroma. Furthermore, our production is completely CO2-neutral. Our hydroelectric power plant has supplied the entire production with energy for more than 100 years – this is more than we can actually use … “because of our love of the future”.

Tip: Watch out for the fields of sunflowers at the end of July and the beginning of August … this is when they are at their most beautiful …

History

Sunflower oil is one of the most important vegetable oils in the world from a quantitative point of view, and originally came from North America. The plant has become a common plant in Austria and its special feature is its bright yellow flower which suggests summer and sunshine. Large fields full of sunflowers in full bloom can bring a smile to our lips.
