Organic & Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

The very best hand-picked organic pumpkin seeds gently roasted in a pan on our wood-burner, a pinch of (Austrian) salt and the healthy vegetarian snack is ready to eat. The oil pumpkin’s seeds are 100% of Austrian origin and have been grown organically. When they are roasted they take on a bulbous shape and become particularly crisp. It is important that they are not roasted too quickly and a lot of care must be displayed in this procedure. This is the only way to achieve our unique aroma and nutty flavour.

History

The possibilities are endless when you use the best raw materials, that is why yet another alternative had to be found for our pumpkin seeds. There have always been toasted snacks, but producing healthy snacks requires a lot of patience. There was a lot of trial and error involved, but after a few attempts in our wood-burner we were successful and we discovered the perfect temperature and the right amount of roasting time for our salted pumpkin seeds. This was the only way to preserve the flavour of the pumpkin seeds when creating a crispy snack, and one that our customers would be happy and satisfied with. The rest is history.
