Black beans, often referred to as black turtle beans, stand as a prized gem in Latin American cuisine, extending their popularity to various corners of the Americas and Asia. While still relatively uncommon in our latitudes, black beans are mainly found in dried form. As with most beans, the best practice is to soak them overnight and then cook for approximately 30 minutes. Mmm!
